Junk Food Attacks

Hi GuysJ  How is everything going ? After a little break I am here to write about the junk food attacks(this attack is the time which you want to eat any kind of junk food so really strongly) that we are all having gone through sometimes. I hate those attacks! I feel like I have to eat something delicious or which has high calorie other wise I’m gonna die. My brain tells me that I must not eat those unhealthy and inessential  foods, but my heart tells me “Common Eda go ahead and eat it tomorrow you can balance it with only eating vegetables.” It is always the best to listen to your heart guys, so listen to your heart!

Unfortunately I’m just kidding. Junk foods have a tallent to make up fat, destroy our body and organs if we eat them sperfluous.(this picture is from the site http://www.grafikerler.org/foto-manipulasyon/13459-sisko.html)


This is the question: How can we stop those attacks? Actually it’s easy.

We all know that eating only 3 meals in a day may slow down our metabolism so we should eat snacks between those meals.  The thing is what kind of snacks? Generally chocolates, cookies, chipses,wafers and crackers are snacks, too. But if you want to loose weights or to get out of those attacks you must not eat these kind of snacks. You should prefer to eat fruits, vegetables, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts or crackers with whole wheat. Or you can prepare your self a snack which must be at most  150 calories. For example banana milkshake prepared with milk and banana only.Try to prefer these kind of snacks an you will see that you are attack free in a little time.

The Dilemma

Hello my lovely readers. Nowadays I  am reading from internet or newspaper about dieticians which separated into two groups. One group is supporting the claim that “people who wants to loose weights should not eat bread” and the other group is supporting that “people who wants to lose weights must eat bread”.

I think every people must eat bread, but only the breads with wholemeal or grain, because these breads involves vitamin B1(thiamine) which is an impotant vitamin for human body.Thimine’s utilities are:

1)It supresses the diabetes

2)It helps to protect nervous system

3)It İnvigorates the memory

4)It digests the digestion

5)It turns carbohydrates to energy

6)It digests the blood circulation

7)It supress sclerosis

On the other hand human body needs to take carbohydrates to perfortm it’s duties. Don’t forget that human body is in a balance and if you cut eating carbohaydrates you will overbalance your body and in that situation your health will be in a big danger.

First of all if you are doing any kind of sports it is mandatory for you to eat carbohaydrates, because they will turn in to energy(which you need a lot if you are doing a high coordination sport) and your body will burn them at the first hand. Differently if you are not doing any sports an you want to lose weights you still have to get carbohydrates but you have to be selective. Rice, spaghetti, white bread, begal, ext contain processed flour which is unhealty and not satisfaying. Also they increase the blood sugar.Because of these reasons people who want to lose weight should eat breads with wholemeal or gain.Besides they can prefer to eat spaghetti or rice which is made of wholemeal, too.

Fist Day

Hi guys, I know I owe you an apologize because I omited posting on my blog for a long time. I will try my best to please all of my readers. I didn’t have time to post on my blog because last week was my exam week. I was very stressful and I had an unhealthy  diet. This week starting from today I really am starting to a new, balanced, healthy and ongoing diet.

I am 18 years old and I love to do sports at least 4 days a week which needs high condition, so I have to nourish my self in a healthy way. I have to be sure that I am having enough amount of protein,carbonhydrate and fat because the less amount will be really dangerous for my body and the high amount will make me gain weights. I want to give you guys a clue about my work out with a short video. This video (which is the Doutzen Kroes' VSFS workout video.) includes every think that I do besides running.  

As I said in the first paragraph I have started a new diet today Thuesday, 15th of October 2011. First day my breakfast was cereal with milk and apple besides. I always prefer to eat furit when I have cereal or oatmeal because the firt reason is breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I know that I have to get enough calories to start a day with full of energy. The seond reason is they are not filling foods so fruits always help me to be full. I usually have a healthy snack like dried apricot or fig, apple, pear, tangerine or almond without salt between the brakfast and lunch to keep my metabolism work fast.

 In the weekdays I don’t have a chance to eat what I like, I have to eat the food which is cooked in the dining hall, so I had tantuni (which is a Turkish food and includes meat amid a bread there is a picture of tantuni under this paragraph).This picture is from this site.


 For my dinner I ate lightly because tantuni was a havy food. I ate a salad with soft white cheese. What do you think? Healthy day right?

Hello everyone.

First of all I want to share with you that I am so excited about my first post. I am a senior in Tarsus American College and my biggest dream is to become a dietician. In my blog I want to draw attention to any kind of resource which is about healthy life. I will use every possible source to give enough information about a balanced diet. At the same time I want to notice the importance of sports in humans life.In the mean while I want to share my eating order and how I try to balance my diet. I am a student and I have lots of responsibilities which are usually boring things.I really enjoy eating and I am passioned with eating chocolate so guess what I do when I got bored? I EAT :) What happens when I eat I put on weight. Schoool has opened 2 months ago and in this 2 months I gained 4 kgs.I hate this situation, I hate when people come to me and say "Woow Eda you look different did you gain some weight?" Starting from today I will loose those weights, even more than I have gained! So shall I start?
 Dear Friends,
Today is 28th of October and today is my first day for getting fit. I woke up at 8.15 in the morning and had an really really healthy braekfast. I ate 2 pieces of  whole-wheat bread(1 piece should be 25 gram) with light cream cheese and lots of tomatos. For the lunc I prefered to eat 150 gram grilled chicken and unlimited salad(don't forget that this doesn't mean oil is unlimited, too.) I didn't have time to eat any healthy snacks because of my lessons. So I ate a lot in dinner :( Which is very unhealthy. I have to exercise to burn all those calories thats why I am going to run for 45 minutes. See you guys later:):)
